8th January, 1999: "Mita caught the eye with her first Solo at Rabindrasadan": Recently 'Rabir Alo' presented a solo Rabindrasangeet recital by Mita Kundu. Mita, in her very first appearance, filled the heart of the audience with her sweet voice. All the ten Rabindrasangeet she sang "had a touch of heart". Songs like tomarei koriachi, amare tumi ashesh korecho, ogo tomar chohkkhu diye, had raised the atmosphere to a "different dimension" …That's the measure of success of an Artist!!
