8th. January, 1999: "Mita caught the eye with her first Solo at
Rabindrasadan":
Recently 'Rabir Alo' presented
a solo Rabindrasangeet recital by Mita Kundu.
Mita, in her very first appearance, filled the heart of the audience with her sweet voice.
All the ten Rabindrasangeet
she sang, "had a touch of heart". Songs like
tomarei koriachi,
jaogote anando,
amare tumi asesh_full,
ogo tomar chohkkhu diye, had elevated the atmosphere
to "a different dimension"…That 's the measure of success of an Artist!!
She proved her mastery and artistry in devotional songs as well. Mita had the audience spellbound with her own composition trinayonee tumi
